Health Professionals wanting to work in Australia require a working visa, visas are only approved when candidates have gained registration approval.
If candidates require an employer sponsored visa they are bonded to that employer for the
period of the visa, temporary business visas are available for up to 4 years.
Medical staff are required to gain Australian qualifications either general or specialist before they are eligible to apply for permanent residency. Employers will offer permanent residency sponsorship when this requirement is met and this requires the candidate to contract to the hospital for 2 years
from the date the visa is granted.
If you are under 45 years of age you can apply for General Skilled Migration which does not contract you to the employer.
We use a licensed migration agent to process applications and answer questions you may have.
Temporary Business Visa’s include the whole family and there are no work constraints on the spouse, these take 6-8 weeks to be processed and are the normal visa we use for you.
General Skilled Migration visa’s for permanent residency take 12 – 18 months to process
Employer sponsored visa’s for permanent residency take approx 3 months and are suitable for candidates who do not meet the requirements for the General Skilled Visa.
Medicals are required for all family members who will go to school or work in a healthcare environment
Chest X-Rays are required for all persons over the age of 11 years.
